About the role
Uniting Church Camping (UC Camping) operates several group accommodation venues (campsites) throughout Victoria, including Adekate Lodge, in the Goldfields (Creswick). UC Camping is seeking a highly motivated person to fill the position of Campsite Manager at Adekate Lodge. The site provides group accommodation and hospitality for up to 120 guests. This position will provide a unique opportunity for the right candidate grow and develop this beautiful site, with enormous potential.
This is a full time permanent position with a preference for the Campsite Manager to live on site. An attractive remuneration package is being offered. The Campsite Manager is responsible for all day-to-day operations of the site, incorporating managerial and operational tasks. This includes administration, coordinating cleaning and building maintenance, providing excellent customer service to campers and external stakeholders, managing compliance and accreditation requirements, and managing the team of campsite staff. ‘On call’ work is also part of the role.
About you
To secure this role you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in community development, outdoor education, education, business administration/project management and/or relevant experience.
- At least 4 years’ experience in a similar role with proven experience supervising others.
