About the role
The Uniting Church in Australia, Synod of Victoria and Tasmania, has an opportunity available for an experienced IT Manager to join our team as the Manager IT Security & Application Support.
This role will be based in the brand new, fully equipped facilities of our Melbourne CBD office.
In this newly designed role, you will be responsible for the delivery of cyber security, web design and development services. As part of these responsibilities, you will manage overall maintenance of the IT Cyber Security Strategy.
You will ensure the application lifecycle and relevant project management requirements meet desired business outcomes.
Using your well-developed relational skills, you will work closely with internal application users and owners to develop an ongoing roadmap for all applications used by the organisation.

About you (Key Selection Criteria)
To secure this role you will have:
- Degree in Project Management, Business Management, Computer Science or Information Technology
- PMI Agile Certified, or relevant practical project management experience
- Experience in a senior role, including people management
- High computing proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
- Extensive experience with a variety of applications and IT security solutions
